    WOW how bout this old thread :shock: my wish is simple, well not really :lol: I wish we the USA were not were we are as a country! I don't like were I see this country/world going! :shock: I'm starting to feel bad things coming. I'm a very optomistic person BUT I find it harder & harder with everything slipping away & what this World is coming to! The framework is there, the right people are there enjoy this memorial day remember the fallen & what they died for, what they stood for! I wonder how much longer we'll be able to say I thank God I'm an American were at least I know I'm \"free\"??

    Honestly...I'm w/Partch. I try to look for the upside of things - it's the only way to laugh in a world that makes you wanna cry sometimes. But these are really fearful times...mine disasters, plane crashes, terrorism, environmental disasters, pointless wars (and other problems) running our economy into the ground, it seems to go on n on.
    It's times like these where I take comfort in positive things: like tomorrow. I'm one of the few Americans who knows the difference between Memorial Day and Veteran's Day, and tomorrow I'll be at the cemetery with the live veterans, honoring the ones who gave all. Knowing that there's Americans who have what it takes to have knowingly gone there through the generations makes me proud that there's some people like that left and allows me to take at least some pride in our nation and it's ideals...
