It stands to reason that if your max bid on the snipe isn't higher than someone elses max bid (regardless of wether they are sniping or not) then you win didley
Yep, nothing wrong with it at all. Have you ever used any of the sniping app's? I tried one but when it notified me that my max bid had been passed it wouldn't let me enter a new max bid for the item so I snipe by hand now Like some kinda geeky computer nerd ebay bid slinger (as he holds up his hand in a pistol shape and blows the imaginary smoke from the barrell)

This gives me the final minute...then I use my stop watch to wait for the final 5.9361225 seconds...and many of my bids come in with 2.00003 seconds remaining.
I have gotten cocky about it...as I usually always win. But occasionally some Righteous bastid has a higher final price listed behind his posted bid, and CURSES....mumble...mumble...muffle.

This has been an ongoing struggle for many companies. You almost have to deal with China if you want to be competetive, but they have absolutely no respect for intellectual property. Once they know how to make what you make, watch out. I'm not a strong supporter of BIG government, but if US companies (especially manufacturing) are to survive, there will come a day when Big Brother is going to have to step up and tell China - hey, if you want to do business with us, you MUST adopt policies that protect copywrite, TM and patents of customers and vendors intellectual property. Plain and simple, it's not possible to compete against a team that is not required to play by the rules.
Whenever possible we need to buy the products that our own country makes --which helps our neighbor to have a job. I understand why it's so enticing to manufacter over there-because it means bigger profits for the company. But the working man looses.

On the subject of China. I was most shocked to notice, here I am living in a fruit producing part of Northern Michigan. I haul local fruit out of here for all parts of the USA and Canada. Over a year ago, I noticed I was hauling apple concentrate FROM CHINA! :shock: WE produce apples here. Frozen Strawberries FROM CHINA! :shock: WE produce strawberries here, and cherries, blueberries, plums, grapes, etc.
This fruit or concentrate must come to Northern Michigan by train. Now how can it get produced and processed in China, then shipped to the USA...obviously Western Seaports...then shipped to outback hicktowns like mine, for me to load it and ship it...YOU GUESSED IT...back to the Western Seaport...ie. let's say Santa Anna for one.??? AND...AND it is cheaper than our own local grown and processed?
Some part of this equation may be...we simply do not grow enough to supply demand? I don't know.

On the subject of Power shift. Well, if the USA suffers any downfall, it will be an economic downfall. We are so rich and so powerful, we will never be completely on our knees...but we may be forced to let the rest of the world deal with the things we have been helping with for all this time. It is my belief, if the USA suffers, so shall the entire world with her. So there is not going to be Power shifts. If the USA is in a hand basket...don't believe China is going to dance merrily around us, laughing. They will be as nervous as a pig at a BBQ.
There is the Ten Nation of Europe thing for you Prophesy followers. There is some truth to them being strong economically, and becoming a player. But the USA is not going to FALL...not in this day in age. History repeats itsself...yes. But has there ever been times like these before??? NO.
Again, if the USA goes...let me be one to tell you...the whole world is going to go with it. The history is rather fulfilled. The course is obvious, like writing on the wall. The future is inevitable...and so is the dynamics set in play.
We just live each day the best we can. Our music is the closest thing to Heaven. Before all this BS started, Lucifer SANG praises to God. God LOVES our music, and it will always pick us up when times grow worse.
