Yeha old Bodom is wicked, but then money got the better of them and they r turning to sellouts with no originality now i feel, every riff sounds like a open E plam mute whereas they used to be borderline black metal. Alexi is pretty good but his tone has deteriorated over the years and i have a vid of him and Roope doing this some classical solos and Roope is WAY better than Alexi. Something Wild is a wicked album \\m/

man - Testament are still a going concern?? i was brought up on all that old school thrash - i stopped checking anything out after the black album (Metallica's worst as far as im concerened - justice did it for me) i got out of the scene just when vulgar display of power was released - but the oldies were the besties i think - morbid angel/onslaught/anthrax/slayer/candlemass/SABBAT!!! a guy at work turned me onto Amon Amarth a couple of years a go = they're pretty darn special!!

i still remember hearing Venom and Black Sabbath for the 1st time when i was a kid - scared the crapola out of me!

ive lost touch with all the modern stuff unfortunately

i said in your other thread the wah was done on a weeping demon wah pedal and i no longer have the distorion i used with it. In fact i don't have most of the patches i use for those recordings... they were on my computer that crashed. right now on my gnx4 are a bunch of patches i made to play the songs live. Because the recording patches never sound good live so i made live versions as well. But if there are any specific song patches you want, let me know... i'll hook up the gnx4 and post them

good to see someone agrees with me that i suck.

actually i haven't posted anything in a looong time. I'm still recording. In fact I just finished 'Wherever I may Roam' which i may post soon. I have greatly improved since my lazy-ass recordings. I write myb own stuff now and really work hard to push myself to perfection. So I agree, my covers suck but I don't think they really represent the kind of player i have become.

DUDERMAN i have a question or a few. did you creat your own backing tracks and how did you do it( with what pogram...ect.) or did you get them from somewhere and where? great playing though. i am looking foward in trying to do some covers too. thanks for your help. it says the you can request so im going to request Disposable Heroes.
