That's what hot tubs and fireplaces are for.
And Limbo won't get any nicer until I take my bosses' wife and slap her into a corner and \"adjust\" her attitude towards me.
...is he roughin' her up yet?
ohhhh yeah...but she's kickin' his naked butt even more !
what are they doing now?
I don't know...they're in the stock room, and it's gotten kinda quiet.
Good ol' American entertainment.
So. Why do women PRETEND they don't like that stuff?!? :?
And...would you yank the control cover off your JS again, and tell me how deep the DPST switch/pot for your coil switching is, from surface of cavity to back of switch?
OK, I picked out pups without the eminent wisdom of you tone purists . I put in a matched pair of DiMarzio PAF Pro's (DP151's). I put them in with a DPDT pot/switch on the tone control, so I can split the coils when I want to, which was a big deal since my Jackson is a S-S-H, and I really love having SC's.
The really amazing thing is that despite having ten different wiring diagrams to choose from, I got them in properly wired the first try. I'm SO proud. 8)
And they sound aMAzing...the EMG's that the Ibanez came with woulda been fine if I was a screamin' thrash headbanger metalhead, but my thang ain't small enough. (settle down metalheads, JUST KIDDING!!! :P ).
Anyway, the PAF's are a huge step up, they sound awesome in both 'bucker and SC modes. Literally turned it into a new git'r. And I haven't even fine-tuned/diddled them yet...height, relative volume, etc, and they have fully adjustable individual pole peices, so I can really finetune the response. I'm jazzed.
Now if I can resolve the tuning issues, I believe that this Ibanez is going to take the place of my trusty ol' Jackson.
Much as I'd love to have multi-git'rs, I'm not in that league. Plus I don't have a wife-unit to irritate with my mysterious git'r-collecting habits. (\"but Honey, I play all of them! Really!!\")
Here's a general warning /FYI about pup replacement:
If your git'r requires F-spaced pups, be VERY sure that it requires them for both positions. I got a pair of F-spaced DiMarzio's for my Ibanez, and the neck pup is too wide and requires a standard spacing.
I s'pose measuring BEFORE you buy the pups is a good idea...

Gotta be getting COLD in Limbo...

So what about the neck pup? F-spaced or normal?

There still fighting.
See...they're wrestling...they have each other in a leg lock.
OH GOOD LORD! That's not wrestling!!
SHUT THIS OFF!!
EEEeeeeeeuuuuuuuu!!!

Women just don't know what having a good time is.
Now. Will some of you meathead ax-slingers advise me re: pup selection?!? :?
