I now have the UA-1G, much better! Came withSonar LE 6.3, but not a whole lot more, my question is, can I use the Studio Inst., and other plugins that came with Guitar Tracks Pro 4, with the Sonar LE? A little scared, thought it might just appear in Sonar, but not the case! Pro 4 is just fine with me, I'm getting used to it, but why not have the best of both worlds. Surely, they wouldn't make you buy them seperate. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, I'd call Cakewalk.....but we know how that usually goes, thanks.
Yea, I don't want to haul my gnx4 to church to fool around, but it works great at home as my interface. Get a midi keyboard (I got a old one for $40 at pawn shop it works great) all the soft synths are VERY inspiring. Loads of fun...and I think some Cakewalk midi controllers com with nice bundles (maybe even Sonar 8 LE) if you want to spend a little money. I think they are called A-300 a-500 and a-800 or something. Check out the cake walk forums for LOTS of info and good search engine. I find myself just playing with the soft synths for hours.... p.s. NOT club stuff, metal and moody stuff!
When you go to Cakewalk forum just think of how you search and dig up nuts in the winter time.... same thing Squirrelly
Surely, I will be squirrelly, I found out how to do it after some soul searching, and forum searching. Cakewalks forum is cool, I notice, they tend to \"hesitate\", with newbies, so I try to sneak like a the Squirrel that I am, and ask in a way that makes it sound like I know a little about whats going on. If anyone else is reading, and has same prob, just remember when installin, where its placing your plug-ins, saves time, but you can go to Global, options, and theres a plug in search, but if you dont add the right places to look, they wont find 'em! By default, I think they go to C:\\\\Program Files\\Cakewalk\\VST...... Thanks guys, appreciate it, time to get my nut!
