I'd also like to satisfy my curiosity about something. These Asian chix who shredd their git'rs:
For one, why is it so important to start their videos with a shot of the headstock of their ax?
And: what is it that inspires the incredible stage presence they exude in these videos??
I wondered that myself, until I noticed that the strings aren't even attached to it. I'm betting it's just a nameplate of some kind...wasn't there Gibbys once that had little black plastic plates that said \"Custom\" on them or something like that, right there on the body behind the tailstop?
I just figured she put it there to keep guys like me from struggling to decide between watching her play and staring at her chest.
I did break my stare long enough to notice the bass player is playing the same one I have (Peavey Grind 4-string). Although I play my new one more - it's a Peavey Cirrus with active pups and parametric active EQ on board. And a flame top so gorgeous it'll tear your stare away from a tank-topped girls' chest.
\"She has impressed critics and fans alike with musical achievements usually reserved for players with relatively long established careers. Tal became a professional bassist after only three years on the instrument.\"
Someone post a link: YouTube/I've Got You McFly (Bass)/Twitness
French girl, wearing Spongebob Tshirt, beginner bass player
Shredd, she mentions that she needs lessons...
As I watch these videos with girl guitarists, I think of:
Neck...standard or long
Body...shape and tone
Strings...taking them off, and opening the new package
Licks...squeals and other sounds made with fingers
Positions...of the fretboard, to learn new combinations
Thanks a lot 'tou. You're killing my will to live, let alone play. Every one of those chix are ten times better players than I am, and twenty times hotter than anyone's business.
But I still think Nancy Wilson is the queen of 'em all - I don't care how old she is now. She's hott, shreds a git'r with the best of them, and writes the best songs out there. And, as we all know (or at least I think so) there's no more important element of music than songwriting. That's how a guy who can't sing OR play git'r - Mr. Bob Dylan - can sell a billion albums and still be a draw at 86 years of age.
Me? I think I'll sell my git'rs, forget about women, and start collecting bugs again. :?
Of course, the Wilson sisters were the Queens of Rock.
They were my favorite band in the 70's and still are today.
Ann's voice gives me goose bumps.
Nancy was fantastic too. Here are a couple songs Nancy took the lead on.
And I'm right there w/Heart. Those chix are so underrated it's tragic. I think Nancy is the most multi-talented female in rock. She sings, plays, and writes at the premier level.
Plus, she's HOTT.
Stop it. You're killin' me.
I went to a charity breakfast this week where my tablemates were an unshaven poly-sci student with a socialist bent, a Palin-esque baby-factory mom (SEVEN, to a 33 yr-old!), and a super-athlete man-wannabe who had worse steroid rage than Lyle Alzado.
Why can't I just meet a \"nice\" girl??? :?

I'm beginning to worry about you guys.
I looked her up on Wikipedia;
\"She has impressed critics and fans alike with musical achievements usually reserved for players with relatively long established careers. Tal became a professional bassist after only three years on the instrument.\"
Not guitar...but strings anyway. These hot babes play classic with passion!
That Orianthi is a cute little number!
Thanks Manitou, Not only do I have to live with the fact that I can't play. Now, also the thought that I want to play like a girl! LoL
Mr. Crowley, True. But I'm talking about .. part 3!

Ole...Amigos!!
Huh?....don't know what \"I\" have in common with her (not a shredder, or even a metal head by most standards...)
