This reminds me of my first electric guitar, from back in the 60's.
It was a baby blue Teisco with 4 pickups and switches like this.
Teisco's were made in Japan. The American versions were known as Silvertone. These were sold by Sears and Roebuck.
My guitar looked much like a Stratocaster. Actually was a fine guitar. Japan in my opinion always made nice guitars. I felt slightly embarrased back then having a Japenese guitar...instead of a Fender or a Gibson. But now I prize my Ibanez over any guitar made today. Also my Epiphone's.
I wish I still had my old Teisco. It was futuristic. My favorite cartoons at the time were \"The Jetson's.\"
The first song I learned on that Teisco was (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, by The Rolling Stones.
Ahhhhh those are good memories. Thanks.
