Nice gitters bezial couldnt see the head stock is that a late 70s les paul, nice gem too played one it was one of the most versitle gitters i ever played. Mines is the tele you see my fat but playing in the digitech guitar soundcommuity Main page its a peavey, I can wack the living snot out of it and it stays in tune, the fender tele I wanted cost 1500 more and right now the peavey will do, and I get lots of compliments on the tone so for a korean gitter I found my own \"gem\". I play every thing from america to anthax and the gitter holds up. Do you find your gem a loud guitar or did you change the pickups. Lots of nice guitars out there!! you folks have been showing, the carvins are gourgeous. I really want to get a big A$$ Gibson 125 or 127 In black.
I'm running it with 12 guage flatwounds and I love it..
Have several others including my epi Joe Pass, my 68 LP gold top deluxe, Ramirez classical, and yes I know this is going to shock you guys I also have a \"Gulp\" \"Fender early 70's strat\".
I know the last axe I mentioned will probaly shock some people who have been following my posts and know that I love Gibsons. I can almost hear it know.....\"What's Tal doing with a strat\".... But I bought it from a friend of mine in the late 70's and have just held on to it....
One day when I get the time and Inclination I will take some pictures of my guitars and amps and post them...
But my favorite is my new 175... The link I have posted are the best pic's of it I can find on the net...
By the way, much to my consternation, my 14 year old son is a player and plays the strat all the time... Claims it's the best guitar I own... I know, I can almost hear you Fender guys now saying \"At least Tal's son has some class\"....
Here's an image of me with my Dads Gibson 335, he bought it in 67. He told me that it was called the 335 because that's how much it cost then.
I was able to do alot of left hand acrobatics due to its low action and comfort. I know Eric Johnson plays something kinda similar and rips on it like a Rock guitarist.
It's in great condition, has a beautiful finish and is alot of fun to play. I'm pretty sure they're worth more than $335 now.
I know it's an old and long thread, but I couldn't resist. The Wolfies...to die for!! The deluxe red burst is a tone MONSTER!!
These are my Schecter C-1xxx (notice the Cool stripper girl inlays ) and my pre f**der DeArmond S-73-12. A beautifully crafted jangly beast that weighs a ton  !!
I love 'em all...even the relatively cheap stratacoustic. I installed graphtech nut and saddle, brass pins, and locking schallers on it... it plays like a dream. Cheap 5 string and the warwick suit my purposes fine.
Excuse the mess, I'm renovating so I tore down the egg crates and the home made desk and I'm building a room with real walls AND carpet in the Dungeon ...slowly but surely...
What a nice guitar... The ES335 in tobaco sunburst. WOW!!!!...
Tell you what.... I'll double the original purchase price...
Just kidding... Hang onto that one.... What a nice sweet axe!!!! Used to have one just like it umpteen years ago but had to sell it for bills.... Bummer....
Here are mine
Love my N4, I'm a big nuno fan. The Cort is a cheap SJ-5, sounds fantastic!, and there is the Yamaha silent nylon guitar, great for playing live acoustic without feedback.
There's mine a Roland G-707 synth guitar made in the 80's. Mines the Red Color. The Red is the rarest out of all of them. It's a great guitar that looks like an alien's assault rifle. I had to look on the web for a pic cause I got a crappy web cam. Hopefully I'll get a better one sometime soon and post better pictures of it. Tim Skold of MDFMK era and Amir Derakh of Orgy used them
No, not a fender but an \"Indie Dragon\", Indie being the make and Dragon the model. All the inlay work is in different coloured Abalone. Only 150 of them were made then Indie Guitars stopped producing them. It sounds good and plays great but I'm just waiting for delivery of a Seymour Duncan SSL1 for the neck, Antiquity Texas Hot for the middle and a JB Trembucker for the bridge then it will sound great too. Hey Rawfish, how did you get your pic to show on this page, I'm a complete noob at this kind of thing?
Bonzer!!! I've finally sussed out why my attempts at posting any happy snaps failed! I was previously trying to upload bitmap images which kept on failing, file size maybe, but if i convert them to jpg format it works as can be seen below, ta da!!!!
Still, my skills, or lack thereof, as a photographer leave a lot to be desired. Still, it's been a great day as not only have I sussed out how to post a pic on this board but my SD Antiquity Texas Hot and JB Trembucker arrived this morning.
Thanks shando for the 411. 8) After my first post yesterday I did alittle more research and found that, yes it's not a fender, and was an Indie(never heard of them until yesterday)There web site has a whole bunch of look a likes,IMHO that are really close to copywrite infingment's Never the less,I want one :!: 8) very 8)
there's some really nice guitars on show here - i really like the look of the hoolow body p90 telecaster! and the roland synth guitar too
these are mine - vintage 5 string bass, Squier stagemaster HH Floyd Rose, and my newly aquired (and the best thing ive ever bought so far!) Epiphone Les Paul Custom.
Nice guitars there Archon, I got my kid an epi LP Custom for Xmas, one of buddys came around yesterday with his Gibson LP Custom and we did a side by side comparison plugging both into a clean amp. There wasn't really that much difference, the Gibson sounded just a little bit brighter and a very little bit more powerfull, though from what I've read this can be easily sorted by putting in different cap's. Still I s'pose the \"feel\" and \"workmanship\" of the guitar is another factor but I really can't fault the finish and feel of my kids epi. Maybe we were lucky and got one of the few where everything comes together at the right time during manufacture but I was surprised to say the least. I did previously think the epi was good but I never imagined there would be so little difference between it and a £2000 Gibson!!!
Regarding Epiphone LPs, I have one and love it. Fit, feel, and finish are perfect. Stays in tune while playing. Looks great, sounds great. As far as sounding like an LP, it is so close no one could tell the difference, since virtually every Gibson LP sounds different than the next one (by year, model, etc.). Plus, once you run it through an amp modeler, effect, or amp, you would never know...
