X Edit 2.4.1 on Windows 8.1 will not install

I have recently upgraded my PC and had to go with Windows 8.1
I had skipped 8.1 as long as I could, but Windows 10 upgrade will be free..
So I can rid myself of it in a few months.

Anyway, I get error installing X Edit 2.4.1 on Windows 8.1
Worked fine with Windows 7..

Does the X Edit 3.7 work with GNX3000, and GNX4 ??

I use both GNX4, and GNX3K along with a JamMan Stereo which the new software installed fine, have not tried it yet though.

Yeah, that's a common issue with these things. Gotta be an admin sometimes...

At least they still run on newer Win Sys. I have a ton of stuff not even a couple years old that won't run on our Imac. If its a late version OSX.. lol forget any dated hardware running, much less editors.

Surprisingly W7, W8, have no problem running these and other hardware that was antiquated in computing years (3 years of more).
