How do I use downloaded user patches? Help needed
Hi guys,
I have had GNX4 since 2005 and never once have I bothered to download any patches. Now that I am getting rid of my PC and getting a Mac I am suddenly worried that I won't be able to do any of that stuff that I neglected.
I would appreciate it a lot if you could explain to me how I can transfer a patch to GNX4? I just downloaded hundreds of artist patches thanks to the great users of this forum, and saw that there are hundreds of sub patches etc and all have gp4 extension. Needless to say I have no idea how to use these and get them permanently stored on GNX4. GNX4 preset folder has only one file with some extension like TLB? or something like that.
I searched the forums but i am not really tech savvy and most of the acronyms have gone above my head. If you could help me I would be very grateful. Is there a software interface that I am missing?
Thanks!

But. The *.gp4 files should be able to be loaded onto your GNX from your mac via XEdit's mac version, which is available on the DT website. So if you have the patch files (or if you download them from the site onto your mac), you should be fine.
