Mangling The Classics #26
So, here another one for you to sit through…
Once again, though I'm without access to any of my studio or gear, I had the opportunity to grab someone's mobile recorder for ten minutes and throw a song on it…so - I did this one. A great tune by Young Neil, made famous by Annie Lennox. I really like playing this song, as it's one of the few I do that uses one of those bizarro alternate tunings. As before: done in one take, with no opportunity to mix or use any studio enhancement whatsoever…so it's probably a little raw…hope ya like it anyway!

Nice to hear something from you. The open mic nights seem to be helping you with your performances. The songs you are choosing are matching better to your vocal abilities, and your performances are coming thru sounding much more relaxed. Good job!
That said - I've been very lax on it lately; after doing it weekly all winter and most of the summer, I haven't been in a month, and am playing very little at home. Need to pick it up...
