Digitech 2120 VGS Artist Guitar Preamp/Processor

I cannot change programs on the 2120 effect either from the footswitch or dialing the “Program Effect” button. It appears that the device is frozen every time it is powered up since all of the buttons on the effect don’t do anything neither when being pressed. Please help.
