RP200 problem---plz help!

hey everyone, i'm new here. hope someone can help. just got an rp200 given to me, but it acts like the volume doesn't work. all the lights function well along with the \"select\" and up/dn pedals. i plug everything in correctly, but get no sound out of the my small epiphone amp. however, if i plug my mp3 into the headphones jack, there's sound at the amp. i tried recalibrating the pedal per digitech's procedure, but still nothing! any suggestions??

Make sure the power supply you are using is the HPRO PS0913B-120, otherwise it won't work. The RP200 runs off of 9 volts AC, and generic power supplies put out DC voltage.
