over heating amp

i have an over heating problem. i have a raven rg 100 g half stack and i use rpg 150 pedal after 5min of playing the amp shuts off from over heating at first i thought it was the head but i took back and they replaced it brought back and it happened again, i used other pedals with the amp withno problems but i think thats it because of the rp 100 but when i ask at music store they have no idea, i have used this pedal with other amps and had no problem but these two together seem to have a problem. does any one else have this problem or know what could be going on?? thanks!!

    Try using the multieffect through the amp return of the effects loop and see if it does not have the same problem. Going through the front input of the amp, you have to make sure the levels are properly set up. Too high of an input level may be causing your amp to shut down.
