Happy Thanksgiving...

To my fellow Americans, Happy Thanksgiving. I am happy to report that after a number of years of \"re-educating\" myself in the health care field, and looking for a job in the field as an Registered Nurse, I am thankful I am now working as an RN this season and bringing home some money. It's been a real struggle in this economy, but things are looking better here at home this year and I'm thankful for that.

The 13 hour shifts are hitting me hard on my practice time in the woodshed, but at least I can now afford to pay the heating bill in the woodshed. My band is still going strong and we continue to improve. So, I'm also thankful for the guys I gig with and that we continue to be successful. It's hard to get a band together, and even harder to keep it together, but we are still filling our schedule. So I've got a lot to be thankful for this year.

Wishing all of you a Happy Thanksgiving, and for our foreign friends who don't share this Holiday with us, I hope you have lots to be thankful just the same. Would like to hear from anyone else about what they are thankful for this year. Best wishes.

So much to be thankfull for,
I'm thankfull to have a job, that allows me to pay taxes, and contribute. I like giving and am thankfull to live in a country that has clean air, water and abundant food. A country that gives to others in times of need. I'm thankfull for technology that allows me to record sound on sound and techniques that make life fuller and longer.

Had a great Thanksgiving and weekend.... most of my siblings are scattered all over the US and this year we had all but one. Good times, much to be thankful for!!
