can one use a microphone through the RP series?
Sorry, newbie here, and not sure if this has been asked before. For the singers out there, can you also plug a microphone into the RP series and sing through it into the USB port of the computer? This would kill two birds for a lot of folks, I imagine. I know that there are not any mic preamp models in the RP series, but I guess a clean tube preamp patch would work. Thanks!

But I have a GNX4, which has an actual mic input. I have several models built just for mic use, and they sound pretty dern good.
But an RP doesn't have a mic input, so you'd be subject to converting your mic signal to Hi-Z, putting it into models intended for instruments, and using a Hi-Z output. I don't guess you'd get great quality out of that...
