my rp155 doesnt work out of the box

my gf got me an rp155 a few weeks ago and when it came trying trying it out it doesnt work,

its an american model and i'm in the uk but i have a US/UK voltage adaptor.

when i plug it in i get TB FE 1 then a blank screen then 11 TB FE, then back to one and thats it.

none of the pedals or knobs do anything and theres no output response.

i do have an old RP50 with a UK plug, is that ok to use?

    I'm no tech wiz...other guys here do that. I'm just here to meet chix. :P

    But...yeah...I'd be willing to bet your problem/s lie in power supply incompatibilities. Check what the power requirements of your particular unit are (if it's USA model, it'll be 9VAC/1.3A - it WILL NOT WORK with a DC-output adapter). Then check that the output type/current of whatever adapter you're using is compatible. If you get them matched up, it'll probably work fine. If not, return it.

    well the adaptor says its an AC - AC convertor, doesnt digitech say about DC only or something?

    can i get a PS0913B 240 separately?
    actully its prob just best to send it back and get a UK model.

    its cool i got it working
    we ordered a uk plug and that failed to egt it going so i performed a factory reset just to see and it worked, coolness
