Power Supply for RP150?
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a used RP150 with a burnt out pwoer supply.
It is Sunday now, so all music stores are closed, but I saw somewhere that Digitech pedals such as my RP150, can be used with either 9~12V power supplys that gives out AC power that supports up to 1.3A. Is this true for my RP150? I can't find any information about it. Thanks!
P.S. I tried the 12V and it worked, but I'm not sure if this will damage the unit in long term?
I got this off the other forum and not sure if it is true:
\"I just wanted to mention that the RP300 will run on any AC supply up to about 12V without heat-sinking the 5-v regulator inside the unit, and you can use DC levels from 8V up to about 14V as long as the center is positive.\"
