An FYI regardin Windows 7 and GNX1-3
Digitech has no plans to update the GenEdit product (for GNX1-3) for Windows 7, so you, like I, are screwed if you've bought a Windows 7 machine. I contacted them directly and received the confirmation today.
I can get everything to work on on my Win7 machine, but GenEdit 1.6 (I have an old, GNX1 box) won't even open. Some kind of Active-X error. Anyone have any ideas??

Might want to consider this as you buy new/old Digitech products in the future.

I'm using a USB > Midi (M-Audio Uno) adapter on my Dell 1745 Studio laptop running Win7 64 bit and GenEdit 1.6 and it talks to my GNX3 just fine. Also works fine on my lower end Toshiba laptop running Win7 32bit with the same usb>midi adapter.
You have to run it in WinXP SP2 mode and \"As Administrator\", but it works fine. Give that a try.
I thought mine was especially weird because I was getting the active-x error when I tried to open GenEdit. Since nobody uses the GNX1 anymore (it seems), I didn't see anyone talking about a fix.
Thanks again guys!
