Sell me the Digitech RP355 over Vox Tonelab ST
Hello guys, I´m from Brazil, and I must buy online, so I have no way to test the hardware I want to buy. I´m running a Fender Stratocaster with Custom Shop 69 pickups through a Fender Pro Junior Tube Amplifier.
I´m really between these two pedals: Vox Tonelab ST vs. Digitech RP355.
I´m convinced that the amp simulators on the Vox Tonelab ST have much superior tone quality over the Digitech. Is that right ?
What I´m really concerned is about the limitations on the Vox Tonelab ST about mixing effects. As I like the Gilmour and Hendrix tones, seems I can´t go with a Fuzz+Wah+Octavia on the Vox Tonelab ST right ? But what is really pushing me is the natural sound the Vox Tonelab ST seems to have over the digital artificial sounding of the Digitech. Is that right ?
Show me your thoughts please.

Sorry. Got off on a tangent there.
I'm sorry I'm not able to give you a real review on the Vox - I've never played through one.
I also have guitars with Humbucker pickups - I don't have a Strat. I do have one guitar with DiMarzio PAF Pro's that are coil-split into single coil mode, but it's still not a Strat...
What I will say is that the latest DigiTech gear (RP series) has been soundly criticized for poor sound/modeling. I myself own an RP155, and compared to my GNX4, it sounds like a cat in a blender.
By the way - here's a link to Vox manuals, and perhaps it will give the sure facts about whether or not you can combine the effects the way you want:
