Any GNX4 patch users integrating MFX patches with Pro Tools?

I have recently required the \"MFX Supermodeling Ultimate\" patches, for my GNX 4 and I am trying to integrate it with Pro Tools LE 8 as a plug-in.

I wanted to check and see if anyone has done the same, and see what you have been able to accomplish. .

I would appreciate any info in getting started with this integration, esp. a brief summary.

I have auditioned some of the sounds and would like to comment that they are as good as promoted.

I don't use ProTools, but I don't really understand the question either - you would want to use the sounds that are appropriate for a particular situation, regardless of where they came from.

I'm with Ilia - I don't quite get the question. Are you asking if anyone has developed a software version of the GNX4 that can be used as a plug-in?
If so, - I don't think so.

Or, are you asking if we have recorded using the GNX4 with the Supermodels patches into ProTools? For me, that would also be a no, but I have recorded into Sonar, Logic and Garageband. The results were as good as I could have achived my mic'ing an amp and recording into those programs.

I am sorry about the delay in posting a reply to you. I am just now beginning to understand how to interact post's and replies.

The basic question was being able to use presets in Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) software, ie. using MFX presets or GNX4 presets as a plug-in like Guitar Amplitude, or Rack 11 which Pro Tool (PT) uses as plug-in to get the vintage tones that guitarists are looking. MFX presets sound blows these plugins away and are simple to use and tweak vs. PT guitar plug-ins.

2nd question was transfer/use ProTracksPlus (PTP) with PT. Can't be done, But, from what I know, is that you can record to PTP as a .wav file, which is a standard file for nearly all DAW software. Once it is in .wav file extension, it can be used by any software. Sometimes, \"translate\" software is required, i.e. \"DigiTranslator\" for PT to utilize other DAW software, i.e. PTP, Sonar, etc.

How do you utilize PTP song recordings into Sonar DAW edit, mix and record?

The MFX Supermodels are configurations for the GNX. They have nothing to do with PTP.
