Ok my foot controler .. One of the pedals won't work ( the play ped) I opened it up it is a circuit board  .. When you press on the pedal there is a plastic nipple that cantacts a 3/16 square thing which I have no idea what it would be called.
Now anyone gots any knowledge of these things? Can the surface of that lil relay switch ( for lack of terminology) be cleaned with some electrical contac spray .. Can I get a new one an replace it? anything else that can be wrong/bad with it? I am clueless (as usuall)..
P1sses me off  ... not like I use the thing everyday or every month for that matter LoL....

I've seen this before, and have had the same problem in my old Roland synth. It's solvable...if I were me, I'd wait for g (guitar3456) to reply, he totally knows this problem and what to do, even if you need new parts.
The lower board once you remove it has these little switches that are activated from the pedal lever action. If the tact switch is open (you can test it with an ohm meter) it will read a high resistance on a DMM (dig multimter). When you press it, it should read very low like around 2 ohms or lower. Some tact switches do have some resistance depending on your meter and it's sensitivity.
another case, it may not be bad, but the solder contacts where the switch leads mate the pc board are weak or may have a tiny ring around them causing them to open as the lever puts pressure on the switch.
