Trying to get a life - wish me luck!!
'K guys, here's the skinny:
Today is saturday. On Tuesday I have a HUGE interview. Huge 'cuz it's the first crack at a \"real\" job, one worth having, I've had in months. I've been interviewing all summer and fall, but a lot of dead ends and flim-flams. So this one appears to have actual potential.
And I gotta say, I'm really looking forward to being self-sufficient again, pulling my own weight, fending for myself. And I don't have to mention how badly I want to have a studio/music room again, so I can play and record (assuming I remember how... :oops: ).
I'm not putting my eggs in this particular basket until I've interviewed, decided I want the job, and am actually offered it. My last job taught me - the hard and painful way - to be careful about what job you take, so I'm going into it with an open mind. But I'm hopeful.
So I need all youse guyz rubbing your plectrums together to generate good mojo for me. I've had a tough year and I'm looking forward to things looking up a bit!!!

I had \"the\" interview today, and it went...well...OK. I'd say about 50-50. The interviewing proper went pretty well, I presented myself well, I'm very qualified for the job...but I think that they think I'm OVERqualified, and would have to pay me more than they want to. I think. I won't know for several days, as they have others they want to interview. But I'm keeping my fingers crossed...it'd be a good job for me sort of \"medium-term\", meaning I don't see it as a forever job, but a helluva lot better than sitting around broke with no git'rs, bumming that Shania won't return my phone calls...
