rp355, X-Edit and NetUpdater problem

I got a rp355. Asio driver works fine (I tried Reaper and Cubase). But X-Edit and NetUpdater can't find hardware. What is wrong?

What version is the firmware on your RP355?
What Operating System are you using?
Did you download Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 (x86)?

Sometimes, I have to shut off my securities to run a download, from a site I trust.
I may check my Explorer to see that it is current with all securities updates,
and that I don't have some security lockout going on.
