Device received corrupt data - damn!
I bought a USB -> MIDI cable so I should be able to run GenEdit on my laptop (WinXP).
GenEdit loads, recognizes the device, and I'm even able to change settings, save, etc. But if I try to load a patch from a file, it gives \"Device received corrupt data\" message
I can't load any patch!!!!
Does anyone was able to solve this?

If you bought the Maudio UNO, Edirol brands, go to their website and download the latest drivers for your version of Win XP.
Cable looks like this: http://www.vetac.com/product_show.asp?id=88
Many forums report constant errors of these synth usages when their specified plugin is not communicating.. ie Proteus, Dimension Pro, Kontact etc. Most are due to these same generic cable issues with non specified driver support.
