am I toast???

I am getting a new laptop and it uses Vista 64 I am wondering will any of my programs I use now work I tried on Microsoft site and I got no results.
I have X-Edit,Protracks plus,Frooty loops 8, and EZDrummer with ToonTrack solo. Anyone know where I can find out what will still work and what won't?? I just realized this and I already gave my laptop I am using now away as soon as my new one gets here.oh ya and Guitar Pro 5

    It's great that you were able to give away your old laptop. I guess I am more self centered. When I got my new laptop, I reformatted my old laptop with WinXP and use it exclusively for my GNX4 and PTP. Actually, it also has a few other music programs I use on it to. I don't know which programs work with Vista and which don't. I just avoided the issue by dedicating my older laptop with WinXP to run my music software exclusively. So it's not like I have another computer sitting in my closet, it's actually being used. Good luck.

    LOL I guess I should re phrase that my Girlfriend confiscated it since I get a new one she wants this one lol
    I actually do have my old tower I used for all my Karaoke formatting and CDG creating I guess I could dig it out change the power supply and see if I can get it going again it kinda went kaput on me and so I basically put it away and havent looked at it since. I will probably have to reformat it.
    Oh man all that software I had took me forever to get and figure out.
    I guess thats why it has sat I hate the idea of loosing it all.
    weird even though I can't use it I still feel like I have the software oh what a procrastinator I've become LOL
