Mangling The Classics #24

Hm. I can only hope DG doesn't hunt me down and kill me slowly for this.
This was done over a b/t that thatsastrat built (http://www.guitarworkstation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8916). I decided to put some vox in it, and ended up adding a few other lix as well. I did the first solo, the short one, and T/A/S did the long one at the end.
My git'r work is OK, but I'm not that proud of the vox; besides being deaf as dirt and singing like a mangled cat, I only worked on this for a couple of hours. I'm too depressed about Shania ignoring me to put any real effort into anything these days.

Anyway...give it a listen (if you can bear it), and lemme know whatcha think...

  • I liked it! Deffinetly more complete obviously with the first Solo on guitar & the vocal 8) Hey good attempt Shredd Scream & all :D Seriuosly Floyd most of it is a better fit for your vocals! Nice job guys! 8) :D Maybee you all can team up with Dobb? for something? 8)
  • I must admit when thatsastrat posted this I had to listen a couple of times and sing to it myself. You just have to on this one.

I also must admit that when I heard your scream I spit my coffee all over my computer screen! :D Dude, your great.

You did an awsome job shredd! I haven't been into my music for a while and I'm gettin an itch to do something again. Anything. Maybe I'll start something tonight.

    Um...thanks??
People spitting up their hot drinks isn't the reaction I'm usually going for...but hey, it's a reaction, right? It's a lot more than I've gotten out of Shania lately... :?
  • Nice collab, shred ! WTG

On a totally different note! OT .... Hows your BMD comming along? Does he get all the chicks doing the ' aw .. he is so cute ' introductions/convo starters?

    Thanks Rawb...
Yah, my BMD is 5 mos. old now and just beyond adorable. Needless to say, he's not exactly starved for attention. Chix ooh and ahh a lot, and I get to have nice conversations with lots of women, some of whom seem highly datable.
Yet, despite my relatively civil efforts, not one date/prospect has resulted. Perhaps I'd do better if I slobbered down my chin and grunted.

Shear size alone is a nice deterant. One of my quilty pleasures is watching people get out of my way when I am out walking my K9,,, an 80lb American Bulldog 8)  :lol:

Funny. But a bulldog is a tough looking dog; these are big teddy bears. Very sweet and friendly. On the other hand, he'll be at least 100 lbs, maybe a bit more...
  • Hey Shredd, nice vocal. I'm still trying to figure out how to diguise mine enough to record. Anyway, nice job.

You'll be surprised how many have no clue about dogs! One of my GSD's was new ie 3 or 4 months old... out socializing him at a local park. Walk by this woman catching some rays in her lawn chair as we walked by, she opened her eyes... dang near broke her neck trying to get away ... did bust her chair! Still lmao when I think about that. When he is full grown you'll see how just his size will affect some people. Whether they have a justified fear of dogs or not! All they see is big! they can care less if he is a teddy bear! They will get out of your way!

Looks like a killer to me. :P
I was in a store today with all sorts of doggie stuff, and the only Bernese Mtn Dog thing they had was one of those signs with the dog's silhouette and the words \"area patrolled by...\". Like a Bernese is some kind of killer watchdog... Talk about getting licked to death!
