Something I worked on for a couple days trying out my new computer I built. A Quad 4 Q6600! Quite the box. I used several synths from Sonar 7 and some free ones too. I used Jamstix2 for the drums. I really like how it sounds. I used my Squire Strat for the guitar.
These are the Synths I used
TTS1 for Strings and French Horn
Dimension LE for Bass
Rapture LE for Lead
Jamstix2 for Drums
Crazy Diamonds (free on internet) Organ

I took a midi file from the internet and put my syths to work to make the sound. Then I added my guitar.

Not bad Strat Man! 8) I did dig the drums! for the most part. I could of heard some cymbals at parts of it were they actually are in the song. Was that all automatic by Jamstix? Just wondering if you did any manual edits? I kind of dug the 1st solo that you let a midi instrument play. I was hoping that you were going to take those solos on! Man they are great solos eh? I thought your guitar could have came up a tad on the distorted chords not to compete with the keys But a tad higher. The final solo was alot better than I could have ever thrown at it BUT I just kept hearing his take on it that's just clasic outro solo! it wails 8) great overall job Strat Man 8) Sounds like your enjoying your new stuff! 8) More from you!

That was awesome 8) I agree with partch on the 1st solo, you did well on the outro solo--I bet you would sound awesome on 1st solo. Great Job.

if this is a cover, i havent heard it before! some good synth work here, and guitar playing for that matter, i like the progressing nature of the song, that never seems to go anywhere (in a good way) and then the first guitar solo hits from no where, with excellent playing!
