Bogner Alchemist 1*12 40 Watt Combo

Anyone play one of these amps? Very affordable as Bogners go! I realy dug this thing alot 8) Seems like it could cover alot of ground just Amp Alone. I'm going to play this thing again clean with Spring reverb on & realy tweak if I can get a Fender clean Sparkle mild overdrive out of the gold channel I'm getting this thing! i love the gain ch Mercuery channell 8) Just very awsome distortion! Just wondering what you alls opinions & feedback on this Amp is? Thanks all!

    8) I just got a Bogner Spider Valve 1x12 40 watt. After I added an internal SVpre it gets great Fender Clean Sparkle now...as well as face melting Metal for your inner VH.
    Bogner is the man in my book this year. I would love an alchemist but didnt have the extra cash so this was the affordable intro into the bogner club...
    I plug my Gretsch into a nice Clean channel with just a small amount of crunch and this thing fills out a 3 piece band like no other.

    You cant go wrong with the Alchemist IMHO. That and a few anolog stomps...\"yer good to go!\" :twisted:

    Hey thanks Danny! I can't believe NO one else here has any opinions of this amp? Have heard one,played one, or knows of someone who has! :?: Anyhow I agree Danny I don't think I can go wrong with this Amp! truly Impressive & very Flexible to cove alot of Tones & sounds 8) My only reluctancy is the Clean I have to go back & play it one more time with the clean channel & say Spring Reverb & see if I can be satisfied with the clean if it is close to the Fender stuff I've played. If so I'm deffinetly going with this Amp over the Fender! Love the fact of the 20W mode BUT if I ever needed more Amp it is there 8) It just seems to have excellent tones at lower volumes? SOOO quite as compared to some of the other things I was playing. Anyhow great amp in my opinion such a great tube distortion on the gain/lead channel!! whorth checking out for you all out there that may be in the market for a new amp? I'm glad I was opened minded enough to try it & not be dogmatic like I gota have a Fender man for my Strat don't talk to me about some other amp! WOW what I would have missed out on :D
