WOW what a difference the vocal makes to this!! 8) Man I love the sound of that! Add what :?: Great tune. This thing sure does not need anything in my opinion Great job Tyler! 8)
I liked this. I think with some more development you could have something. The one thing that I would take a second listen to was the use of the I believe to be some kind of automated panner that you have going on about mid way through. If I thought it added something I would leave it in, but IMO it takes away from the tune and does not add.
Keep at it, because I like what you have started.

yea what Partch said. I hear excelent vocal parts, nice mix of guitar textures. Thanks for the tune.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll keep working on it. I had an idea for a bridge today that I will add to the song when I get a chance to record again.
I think the panner effect in the middle that was mentioned is probably this synth effect. I agree in that I'm not sure it adds in a positive way to the song. I wanted something additional in the middle and toward the end to help make it sound more varied and less repetetive. If this idea for a bridge works out I'll remove that synth stuff and maybe just add it in at the end for fun.
pan and automate the backing vocals ie make them drift out center as they fade.
pull up guitar transitions with panning automation
drop the vocal main mix slightly, and reduce/automate the fx level.
use a mastering plugin when finished \"select all non vocal tracks\" and add multiband compression to emphasize mix transitions
experiment with moderate levels of MB compression to get the \"FM\" vibe
There is a ton you can do with an arrangement like this...
backing vocals- transitions and auto pans
Try copying and pasting those transitions and add automation away from those parts ie clips can be faded out or enhanced fades (sharper fade outs).
*** Important*** anytime you use automated pans you might want to automate the vol of the clip as well since panning will cut levels dramatically depending on how hard they are accented in the mix.
Also, if using final reverbs and post mastering compression like multiband compression, always test the automation to be sure you are not clipping in those regions. Multiband comp can sometimes have difficulty with pan and vol automation so you might want to keep the clips in their own space so you can adjust that clip's volume respectively.

Pretty cool mate. You got some sit going on in there. I think it has some great potential... good stuff :!:
