I'm using a hacked version of rectifier and default ducksolo for the two guitars in the heavy straight chord strumming part. The distorted picking part is just the ducksolo guitar. The accoustic guitar is a breedlove being picked up by a condenser mic. Drums are from addictive drums and some effects on the drums came from Logic.

    Nice Job Tyler! Well structured song! I realy enjoyed this 8) Like you said it deffinetly has potential! I love the sound of that Breedlove Acoustic 8) Man & when that heavy guitar comes in WOW it grabs yeah 8) :D Anyhow just a real nice job the dynamics are cool as well! Always a treat man!     EXcellent piece o'work, definitely has potential.
    Coupla things for me:
    Bass is absent from the mix - make sure it's part of the mix, especially during the distortion parts.
    The transitions are a bit too abrupt. I'd know...:oops: go for the smoother transition, like letting the distortion git'r fade out when the acoustic part comes back in, or v/v.
    And have Shania sing for you. If she won't, send her to my house with her bikini, and remind her the hot tub's hot. :twisted:
