Digitech Dropping Support of Guitar Workstations?
I saw on thestompbox.net that someone mentioned Digitech dropping support of Guitar Workstations. They put the link to this site in their message. I've not been able to find anything to cooberate that claim. Does anyone know what the deal is, if there's any?

However like many manufacturer's, they don't often let the cat out of the bag and reissues of legacy items can also be made possible with feature changes. Historically, it's been one of a higher end item, followed by more budget or introductory type items. Attempting to hit all demographics and competitive response within new product lines ie new RP's for any budget came before the GSP, followed by the next non budget RP, followed by budget RP's.. to be followed by ?????
Considering the ebb and flow of economics, they'll have more success with budget lines for a while and then offer a more expanded version later.. same experiments as competitor's but based on the economic tide.

12 freaking different ones. I wouldn't know how to go about choosing which one is \"right for me\" except to start with 1000 and work my way down.
Just as Roland discontinued VS series recorders for standalone multitracks, don't be surprised to see a new series in the near future since demand has been suggested at previous NAMM shows and again this past NAMM according to dealers. Roland merge/buyout of Cakewalk has dictated the direction of standalone products, however standalone VS users are in abundance and expectations were high to see something of that nature.
It's anybody's guess, but again the market will dictate what these vendors are producing. Volume (more budget products vs high end) seems to be the climate.
The GNX4 is the best purchase i have ever made except for guitars.
I hope Digitech makes a GNX5.
Though Digitech has made more advanced amp modelers I prefer the all in one GNX4.
The GNX 4 is the greatest songwriting tool ever made for a guitarist.
The only thing I don't like about the GNX4 is that it is fragile and after 4 years many buttons no longer work.
I hope Digitech will give my GNX4 an over haul for a reasonable price.
I find the amp models to hold up well and especially with Mike's MFX Supermodels.
If Digitech stops making the GNX4 and doesn;t make a GNX5 I will go back to Boss.
I would at least hope Digitech or someone else would make a Hands free recorder that could be hooked to the PC.
Long Live the GNX4 and Guitar Work Station.
