midi controler through RP 250
I'm trying to run my M- audio 88es though the Rp250 with a usb cable and then my amplifier.
First of all, is this going to work? second, the midi controller's usb output jack is the same square shape as the usb jack on the rp250. does anyone make a usb cable with both of these square ends? or, a female to female connecting peice so I can use cables I already have?

I tried to connect a guitar to the computer through the rp250. i was trying to use my guitar in garage band or this music notation program, Sibelius. Sibellius detected X edit as a midi device, but none of the notes i played on the guitar were coming through.
