using the gnx w/a seperate stomp box

i'm looking use my gnx w/a seperate keeley modded ds-1..... suggestions on placing the pedal before the gnx or after....i've got an effects loop in my amp but typically just plug my guitar into gnx into amp....any ideas? thanks

I've used my DC Solid Metal and other pedals with great success with my GNX3k, usually after the GNX 8)
