Well, here is the picture pulled off of our flyer for our gig this Fri at the Arena in Simi Valley, Ca. If any of you happen to be out here, come up to the stage and I'll buy you a couple of beers to make up for the cover charge. It is our first flyer (and gig) with new guy. Hope you guys don't think it's too cheesy with the smiles and the car and the sunset and the.....
The new guy is the one with the green Ibenez and I'm the one with the red strat.

    I think it's killer. I love the animal shadows.
    FWIW - I don't think the car helps. It's barely even visible, just clutters up the background...
    And it might help if your drummer bagged the \"so...how old's your daughter??\" pose... :P

    LMFAO, Shredd, problem is he ALWAYS looks like that. We would have to lay down some serious editing money to fix that.

    I will add my 2 cent. Ya perhaps nothing wrong with the drummers pose, but maybe just hold his head up and back a bit. Would be more of an ego arrogant stance then imho..

    On a side note.. Is the sky a nice sunset, or reflective of fires burning down the hills?

    The shadows are cool! Did y'all kick around maybe each having their own different animal shadow? ie bear, rhino etc... just a thought. Like it as is though.

    The car? don't think it clutters as much as it explains why your all standing in the road, changing a flat .. LoL Then again it don't have have to make sense, just grab attention and it does that!


    Oh an BTW it might help if the show dates and times were on there!.. LoL. I know, I know just funnin'

    The guy who designed it is actually an infomercial producer, but does alot of creative stuff on the side. We are good friends and he works with us for free....he also is the band photographer and videographer, Here is an infomercial he produced with my wife and daughter in it. She works in commercials. She is the one who DOESN'T look like Karen Carpenter. This one was played over and over on the Ellen DeGeneris show for its comedic value. You'll see what I mean, but it is a real product.

    Hey Taus, thanks. Sometimes if you can get someone like your wife to get a good band shot live, that works real good. If you upload to photobucket, they have some neat stuff to edit the pictures with for free.

    Yeah, her. Though your S/O is pretty also. But the Karen Carpenter girl looks like an advertisement for dental work. That shot where she's waving the Titty Bare's little hand, while she smiles in the background and says, \"hi, aren't I cute?\" could easily be overdubbed into \"Dr. Frankenstein is having a special on full-set crowns...stop in today!!!\".
    Either that, or she just has perfect teeth, in which case an extra sandwich a day would make her a dream girl. :lol:
