A couple of tunes I did with my GNX3000

Hey there,

Here's a couple of tunes I did with my GNX3000. Its the best modeller I've used so far, better than the line6 stuff. Yet to get the MFX Supermodels CD, but its on the list of things to get.
I have an Ibanez SA prestige which is my one and only guitar and programmed most of the tones for these two tunes and a couple of presets that you may recognise as well.

1st tune is an original tune I made up when I first got the GNX, all the guitars are played thru the GNX and I am also a keyboardist and use Reason 3 for the keyboard bits and the drums and bass as well.

2nd tune is Joe Satriani cover of The Forgotten Part2 from the Flying in a Blue Dream album, one of my fav Satch tunes. Basically played all the leads over a backing which a friend of mine from another Forum made.

Just an idea on how I use my GNX and the tones I get. Just for reference, I also use a BBE Boosta Grande Clean Boost pedal plugged in front of the GNX3000 because the Pickups in my guitar (dimarzio IBZ) are not very hot and the clean boost gives me more gain to play with without having to engage the compressor or have lots of gain on my presets which I find muddies things up. Guitar at this present time is being fitted with Suhr pickups so hopefully things will sound better thru the GNX.

    Nice stuff! I too realy like the original! has that Satriani kind of vibe as it goes on & song builds. I think your playing is great! Great Tone & sounds! I'll be lookin for more from ya! 8) :D

    Thanks very much guys for checking them out. Pleased that you like my original tune cause I can be a bit whacked out sometimes with what I create. I'm not doing much musically at the moment, really busy at home but hoping to get back up and running soon. Thanks again Bro's for taking the time to listen and comments. :)

    PS Shredd, I think if I bumped into Liz, I doubt I could speak properly with all the drooling....:) Besides, I have a new love that goes by the name of Megan Fox...(don't tell the Wife though!):)

    Anyway, I won't tell your wife. Maybe Megan should be on your List (obscure reference to American TV show \"Friends\").

    Still, she's my current fav at the mo (My Wife is really) but there is no harm in having a dream babe to dream about. Well Bro, If I ever bump into any of these Ladies, I'll be sure to tell'em to logon to the Digitech website and look you up....:) Cheers agin fella.

    Hey Rawb, thanks for checking them out, the original you need to copy the whole address and paste it into your web browser, you can't just click on the link, think its got to do with the 'n' which I put in the title of the mp3. Cheers. :)

    Make sure you check out my Manglings, which are mostly covers...and my original stuff is on my SoundClick page. And tell all your wife's hott single friends what a geenyus I am. 8)

    Also did a couple more covers below: Joe Satriani's Made of Tears from the SuperColossal Album. I did the whole tune, I could not find a backer for it so made my own using Reason 3 and my guitar. Andy Timmons Carpe Diem cover, also I made the backing myself, I am a big big AT fan.
