Hey all this is just a quick couple guitar tracks of a song we do at Church. Yes it is all the new Start 8) & I did lay down a quick Vocal. This Song is 1 take on all SO there are mistakes! :oops: Missed Chords as well as notes! I'm actually pretty happy with the Vocal for just one crack not bad! 8) Well I mean I do know the Song BUT still for throwing this thing together in 20min is a stretch!! At least for me Anyhow enjoy & yes this is what the Strat sounds like. Granted there are oodles of more tones BUT here are a few. This is played thru MFX Supermodel patch JTM45.

Partch sounds good . Do that at church? Is it a cover? Seems to me to have that 3rd day flavor to it. Nice vocals your really comming along there! 8) Good job for quick throw together.

Well hey thanks! The patch is MFX Supermodel patch JTM45. As far as Strats go American Deluxe Strats are all that! I played several all Awsome! This basically I waited on for the Flamed Maple Top & Ebony Board! Mainly a looks thing It's Strat BUT Kind of looks like Something Else at first glance you know with the Top no Pickguard & only 2 knobs? Anyhow the guitar is almost as stable as my Ibenez JS1000 & yes I have realy done some bending,Whammy stuff & it is fairly stable! 8) Good luck going out and finding this AX laying around to try no one seems to Stock it? I waited almost 4 months for mine :shock: Whorth the wait though! Cheers Boey! Thanks again!

Is this basically an AM Deluxe fat strat without the pickguard?? I looks to have very different pickups as well. It looks very different than the Deluxe strats I have played. I wish I had one!! Very nice

Indeed Boey that is what it basically is. 8) It has the Coabalt noisless Singles & the Humbucker is basically a Semore Duncan From what I've heard pretty much Pearly Gates Plus. The upgrades are the Maple Top Beautiful ,Ebony Fretbaord. LSR Roller nut, Locking Schallers. It is truly Awsome!! Here have a look.

Yep I was thinking good beat driven sound, but the singer moves this song along. it's is sung with soul by a powerful voice as if you meant it.

Hey thanks all for the kind comments! Hey Rawb yes this is a \"Cover\" i suppose not that I do Lincoln Brewster Justice :oops: Well someday I may play as well as He Does. Yeah we do this one at Church & I would love to do more of His stuff at Church! Like I said His stuff is Awsome. Look into some of His Tunes Rawb if you have not heard Him before? I seriously doubt you will be dissapointed?

Partch sounds good. You threw that together in 20? Some of my stuff I work on for hours doesn't sound that good. Recording experience , I guess--I have very little.

When singing, I would bring Rhythm guitar volumn down a notch to bring out your vocals. Drums, up just a tad. Just my 2 cents.

By the way, I had to go to soundclick to hear the song. Does anyone know why I can't listen on this forum? I get a message that says \"Invalid Menu Handle\".

Yeah I know the mix is off a Tad! I can't do nothing with the Drums & Ryhtem guitar is one track recorded directly on the GNX onboard. Brought that into Sonar added a vocal & lead track quick mix & that is what you got Truly this was just to post something to show my new Strat actually works & has a good sound to it! Other than that I had no expectation to take this beyond that. Maybee someday I would concider doing a full up \"good Version\" of this song.

i listenned to it the first time and loved the melody and then thought about how dynamic it would be with live drums and started \"tapping it out\" :shock: The second time i listenned to it ,....it darned near had me tapping all over everything on the computer desk :oops: The beauty of a good roughcut demo is that it allows someone like me( :? :roll: ) to write the rest of the parts in my head and hear those parts play along with whats recorded(being listenned to).the 3rd time i heard it ,it had 3 guitar parts,a piano part,3 part layerred vocals,and a rockin drum part,a fretless bass slidin in the background and...............yeah,i know,I'm looney :oops: ........................................man what a great song 8) 8)

Thanks bro! Yeah there is deffinetly miles more this song could go to do it justice! This was just a quick test to Record my new Strat 8) Have you ever heard Lincoln Brewster the Authers Version? Try to you tube it check his out. Great song! Take care man.

i checked out the video and i prefer just the music(without any image) its a beautiful song but would like a more subdued(less poppy) version.I definately like your take(and tempo) and the strat sounds lurvly 8)
