RP-1 Patches

Hello everyone:

I'm new to this forum and I'm looking for some help. I recently was given an old RP-1 pedal and I'm looking for patches or hoping to be steered to where I might find some patches for this pedal.

Any help would be great!

  • if you have the rp-150 as im assuming you do try this website

    http://www.digitech.com/software_support/RP150Windows.php

itll let you convert any presets you find for other digitech systems to work on your rp. other than that i cant say i know anywhere with patchs for that system. good luck though
  • Yes the RP-1 is the best Digitech and I'm happy that I find a question for something that was possible back in the early 1990's to about 1997. The PC used to have a joystick port that could be converted in to a midi port with a special midi to joystick adapter. Here's the good news, all you need is a patch dump to and from a midi recording program that accepts midi dumps and exports. It will ask you to put the midi channel of the RP-1 on anything from 1-16 as those are the midi channels. Midi Channel 1 on the midi program on the pc sends to midi channel one recieve on the RP-1.

It's been almost fifteen years since I figured it out. And when I started I couldn't always get it to work but then a digitech patch program came out and made it a little easier but by that time I was using the gsp-2101.

(my memories a little foggie from my Yamaha AN-1x days)Same thing

I still have my RP-1 and I bet a midi playing program would still work over a midi to usb cable. But some midi programs work better than others and you should start by looking for a program called (midiman) and any other windows 3.1 era software because it's all most likely freeware by now.
