my new bass...and some my other toys
Here are some of my toys...
My Ibanez S370 that I repainted and replaced tuners, pickups (Duncan JB bridge, Dimarzio Distortion neck), and hardware. I also took out the middle pickup as well as the tone knob.

This is the bass I just bought. A Peavey Millennium AC-BXP. Active electronics are nicer than I expected, gives it a nice boost when the distortion is on.

This is my Alesis DM5. I made a couple of my own triggers for this; the ride cymbal which is actually two pieces of wood sandwiched together with a piezo mic inside and a mouse pad glued to the top for bounce and an all around more \"realistic\" feel. I also made a bass drum trigger which you can barely see on the bottom left. just an L shape with a couple pieces of mouse pad sandwiched together w/ a piezo inside...a door hinge is what the kicker is attached to.

and finally what my GNX3K put out of commission....

I've gotten rid of a few of these since this pic.....the hush pedal, the Uber Metal, and the Phase Shifter.

I'll get a better pic, but this is what I have now:
that's even better looking than it is now, but I still like it a lot.
all I did for this was take it apart and put a couple layers of primer on it (didn't even sand it first  )
then I went to wal-mart, picked up a can of red touch-up spray paint for cars. And the cheapest can of flat black they had along with a can of clear coat.
I painted the whole guitar red, then I went along the edges with black letting it overspray towards the middle. After that I finished it with the clear....but that was the problem; I ran out of clear right away. oh, well. My next project isn't going to be so hastily done.
and, btw, the graphic is a Powell Peralta dragon sticker (old school skateboard brand)
And nice wedding ring...so can you get your wife to introduce me to her hott single friend?? 8) I'm looking for something no higher than 5'2\", at least 200 lbs, and preferably with lots of zits.
that was what i was thinking for the next guitar. paint it the color i want, put the decal on, clear coat over it.
