Here's the last one I was able to save from the Songbird Sessions. The rest were so messed up I either didn't think I could save them, or just didn't want to put in the effort. It's not like I'm sleeping with her or anything... :?

This is one of those old standards, and she did a great treatment of it. I don't know if it'll come through here - this is another one where the timing/syncing isn't exactly right, but it's the best I can do without getting Mutt over. And he's not talking to me, since I want his soon-to-be ex like a kid wants candy. :oops:

Man those are good songs Shredd! Not to minimize your problems you may of had bringing these together & how much better and eazier it would have been had She just came over 1 of those 100 times you asked Her to!! BUT still bro fine job all these tunes with the Songbird are well done & sound great! 8) Thanks again for sharing & taking the time to get these right & post them! 8)

Ya shred she can sing ! For someone who isn't out in a network of bands and other musicians. I can truly see your excitment about playing with her, must a been a real pleasure for ya!

You said it. I've played with some reasonably talented musicians now n then, but she's head and shoulders - and torso and most of the legs - above any singer I've ever played with.
And...having lived in teeny little towns with nothing but porch twangers and egotistical \"master-player-in-their-own-heads\" snobs, it's great to have played with someone with some talent AND a decent attitude. She may have been self-absorbed and hard to nail down, but she's really fun to hang out with and sings like an angel. AND has a museum-quality torso. :shock:
Now that I'm in an even smaller :? town in Colorado, it's proving even harder to find people to play with. There's a lot of music in this town, but I'm not finding players yet. I've seen listings for an occasional open mic, which I wanna hit asap. I just can't stay up that late. I guess when I'm not working 7 days a week (SOON, I hope!!!), I'll have time to ask around. And I'd be thrilled to find someone with 1/2 the talent she has, and doesn't mind playing with me. Especially if she was as hott as the songbird.
Until then, I'll just have to play with myself. :shock:
