Sorry bud. Noobie-abuse is a sickness, but at least I've admitted I have a problem.
As for YOUR problem - it ain't patches. RTM!!
whatcha do it get whatever you need to get that gnx3k hooked up to a computer, get genedit, and hit these websites and download everything that catches your eye

You mean X-Edit.
A patch is a file that contains stored settings for the unit be it GNX4 GNX3K? Even other modellers use Patch file's to save all there particular settings for a effect, or amp model, Artist sound etc.. There are odles of patches at the sound community. I'll post the link to the 3K stuff since that is what you have. Like Illiace said you will need to load X-edit on your computor & plug the unit in thru the USB to load & edit various patches. Much eazier than doing things manuel on the unit! Anyhow welcome Steve! you'll get things figured out just be patient & don't expect to master all the units power in a day!! It takes time to be fluent in the GNX Language.

I could have sworn I wrote an FAQ on patches before, but I can't find it now. I must have imagined it. This was the video that inspired me to get my first GNX - not a guitar obviously, but illustrates the concept, plus mad cool.
If you're lucky.
hell i got the gnx3, with alot less to mess with, years ago and still only discover things by accident. id say any of us will be lucky to ever scratch the surface.
i really dont see why they're done upgrading the gnx3. if they had even expansion packages for it to make it a little more modern like the gnx3k or the 4 im sure they'd make a ton of money, at least from me they would.
