I use a 1990 custom shop USA Randy Rhoades Neck thru. I have two other USA jacksons as well, They just don't have the same feel as the custom shop does, I also have a Ibanez Rg I bought forever ago and I have got a lot of bang for my buck out of that guitar as well. I have a Les Paul studio I have to say I have never meet a Paul I liked or liked me.
But I do have my eye on a new usa dean.....
My current electric guitar, Washburn HB-35, a dual humbucker semi-hollow, and I have just celebrated our one year anniversary. I have to admit I really do like this guitar. And when coupled with the GNX-3, it makes a formidable sonic weapon.
There were a few set up issues last year but when those were resolved the guitar became a pleasure to play. I would recommend this guitar in a heartbeat to anyone wanting a 335 style guitar at a reasonable price.
I'm totally digging my kind of new Fender American Deluxe Strat FMT. I would deffinetly recommend this guitar to anyone seeking a truly beautiful inspiring flexible do it all type guitar! This one is it! All yeah hey Mike
Go Penn State! 8) Maybe they will meet up sometime here in the future?

Is it a year old? Then it is still new! 8)
Go Buckeyes :!:
All I see how it is Rawb Yes it is New. I don't think it is going to fair so well for Brutis & the old Buckeys this year! The Best thing they have going for them it's in the Shoe BUT ask wisconson if that helps when the Spread HD gets rolling
I have 7 guitars and they each become my favorite at different times. I will fall in love with one guitar, and play it (almost exclusively) until I start finding things I dislike about it. Then, one of the other guitars become my favorite.
Right now, my favorite is my nylon string guitar. I actually bought it for my kids, to bridge the gap between wanting to learn and getting calluses. But I ended up loving the tone.
I've also noticed that different guitars bring out different ideas for songs, etc.

+1000!!!!
after letting a bunch go.....I decided to really fine tune what was left I have them divided into differant styles and setups for differant types of music and playing. My recent focus has been on vintage tones and super-clean players.Got into GFS pick-ups like their \"retro-trons\" and fat PAF's.Its awesome having such diversity. 8)
Recently i aquired a couple of handmade stringed instruments that have been taking up alot of my time  Plus, during these holidays,I'll continue to fine tune a few more 8) ......also.....i have to weed out another half dozen for the auction block while getting the finishing touches to my \"proto-types\" done
Here's my facourite guitar. It's an '89 BC Rich ST Custom. I ordered this thing back in 89, and worked a lot of hours packing groceries to get it. Since buying this, I've owned and spent time with Fenders, Gibsons, ESPs, a Jackson or two, a Schecter, and a couple of Ibanez guitars; and nothing comes close for comfort and sound.
There's nothing overly special about it. Swamp Ash body, maple neck, Rosewood board, DiMarzio Tone Zone, Jackson J100XL single coils. But for tone, for comfort, it just has that something that clicks with me.

Thought I would add my list of what I have now, and will have for a while now if my wife has anything to do with it! She really couldn't understand the outlay I made last year on my Rivera KR7 head :? Those things cost A LOT of dough here in Oz. To me the choice was obvious
So at the moment here's the list:
Fender 25th Anniversary Strat - easily the lowest actioned and glassiest sounding strat I've ever heard. The finish has gone a bit green on the guitar top but the bottom is still silver. My dad owned it before me so its sentimental.
Fender 50th Anniversary Strat - Sunburst, sounds great and really versatile. A real joy to play.
Fender American Tele - great guitar, put a different bridge on it and SD pickups. This tele has a lot of spank and ring in the bottom strings. Took a lot of tele testing to find one with this characteristic.
G&L Asat Classic Leo Fender - awsome tele, my other fender wishes it sounded like this!
Les Paul Standard - Great guitar, sounds nice but a heavy pig to play. I'm not a big Gibson fan.... I've played better Epiphones to be honest
PRS Custom 22 - Lovely to look at, good tone and nice to play. Doesn't live up to the PRS hype though IMHO, sorry if that offends anyone. Its never my first choice for a night as I think other guitars do a better job - BUT its a nice guitar nevertheless.
Peavey Wolfgang and Wolfgang Special - great guitars that make no apologies, love em to bits....nuff said!
ESP Horizon NT-II - FR Trem and SD p/ups, just an awsome guitar for anything and is usually my first choice. Beautifully finished, great tone and action and solid as a rock. Worth the money. I couldn't part with this one!
ESP Horizon Custom Shop - Took a long time to get this baby but worth the wait. Tobacco burst with a quilt top, FR Trem, SD p/ups, binding and up-side-down head stock etc. Beautifully built and finished - so much so that I'm scared to take it to a gig. Sounds terrific although not hugely different from the tone of my other Horizon. If you got the spare dough then custom shop is the go.
Currently looking for a Taylor to try and buy. But as always here in Oz one has to cross what seems like 4 continents in distance to find one. Time will tell.
I love my guitars to bits no doubt about that....... but they will all sound like S___t if they don't have an amp that does them justice, something that really brings the tone out of the guitar.
My Favorite guitar (this month) is my Gretsch G5120.
I like it so much I'm changeing everything
I put some spertzel locking tuners and have new TV Jones classics and a RRB Truarc Bridge coming I'll post after the mods too.
ODB 8) ... You got the whole psycobilly thing at full throttle now? :!:
Greg calls it my \"Brian Setzer worship phase\" more rockabilly fun than phyco, but ya the Rev Horton Heat, Scotty moore, Jace evertett I am getting more into that vintage big & clean/with some gain and slapback. I play thats allright MAMA, blue suede, all shook up, Fulsom prison blues, Bad things, Stray cat strut as a rockabillyish set.
The Bigsby thing is really cool too....I go through these \"phases\" of appreciateing diffrent styles of music....right now I'm in \"go cat go\" mod.
End that rockabillyish set with a Rev, horton tune or two. And post a pic of the \"wtf\" looks on the patrons faces :!: 'pic is worth a thousand words' LoL.... :P
My favorite guitar is my black with gold hardware Gibson Les Paul Studio, it doesn't have the cosmetics of a more expensive Les Paul like a Classic or a Standard, but the pick-ups are the same as a Standard, the sound is outstanding, warm tones and when played with distortion she is razor sharp.
