Mangling The Classics #16

OK dudes...here's another tragic mangling that started out great, until I tried to mix in the vox that were recorded under pathetic curcumstances (http://www.guitarworkstation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8063).
It's another decent song - hardly a classic, but features the songbird. I'd play Britnee songs to hear her sing.
Forgive me the mangling. :oops:
But chix dug it when we did this one, and chix is all that matters in life right??? :P
I just wish I coulda made a decent recording of it. Tragic.

Just as sweet as the last one! Self deprecation is curiously satisfying , but your taking it a little far now. .... another nice one. 8) The bird more than makes up for any percieved short comings! imo

hey shredd, you too hard on your self, its not THAT bad, I've posted some real doosies on here. BUT, that girl can SING! Holy cow, i'd love to play behind her, on my guitar of course!

Well, I guess I think they're awful 'cuz I've done MUCH better, and of course all I have to do is listen to one of Carciello's posts to realize that I suck at this, at least in comparative terms.
Like I've said; the songbird could sound beautiful singing beer commercials in a wind tunnel.
These are certainly better than some of the cr@p I've posted in the past...but I guess it really bugs me that I made darn good instrumental trax, and got her to sing, yet putting them together just didn't really work. They coulda been GREAT, but I couldn't get her into the studio. :?

Thanks guys. I'm very disappointed at how these songs came out, 'cuz I made really good instrumental trax, and when I finally got the songbird to sing, the trax really didn't work. They were a nightmare to sync up, mix in, and there were parts missing, harmonies missing, yada. I thought they came out awful...so bad, in fact, that I was going to post them without vox, just so you could hear my terrific playing and recording :roll: .
But it just ain't the same without the songbird's voice. So I sucked it up, mixed them best I could, and posted them. More to come...:shock:
So it's nice to hear you guys liked em, even if I didn't...
Besides, I was playing with her all the time and she sounded great live....better than these recordings, anyway...
