Saxon, Broken Heroes
Not Posted here for a while, sold my RP250 as I was having tech difficulties with the USB on it and getting a glitch free recording.
So I Actually used the Pod X3 for all guitars on this cover (had the podX3 about one year and love it). Got my mate to sing it, he did a great job on a challenging toon.
If any of you can offer advice on the drums I would appreciate it. I made the BT from a guitarpro file and used EZ drummer on drums and added some compression to them.
Not one of my best projects this one but fairly happy with end result. I always start off covering songs enjoying the tune then bloody well hating it by the end of it... ah well, here it is,,.,

Partchie, this song is a classic. It's a must have for any guitarist. It's all guitars.
I love the Pod X3 i have the Pod Bean model. I miss my GNX3000 at times for the Whammy etc. The Pod X3 is fairly limited in the effects dept. I loved some of the tones in the RP250 but I just found the USB glitchy on that for some reason. With the Pod I can hook up to PC and record with no issues.
I am kind of gassing for the Boss Gt10 at the moment to go with my Pod X3 bean.
Ideally I would like to wait for the next reincarnation of the Digitech series (GNX4K) or otherwise.
Anyways thanks for listening mate.
Going from the verse to the chorus, on the Csus to D, Let the C5 ring and add the D and G.

You'll like the sound of it. Just punch in the additional notes into your existing track. Also see if you like the sound of the ending lead by duplicating the track (if on PC) and adding reverb on one of the tracks to give it a much fuller sound, like the original.
Were you using a backing track? If so, I'd love to have it. It's a fun song to play.
Here is a link to the BT I created...
