Amazing Grace
I got my wife to sing again this time alone. Also this is my first attempt at kb so its kinda not so good. But I love this arrangement for this song. It was a lot of fun to do.

My question is... Is she moving in an out on the mic or are you adjusting volume? If she is moving on the mic, find the happy place distance plus volume and stay there. What software you usung ? you should be able to clip the parts that are high and low, and adjust the volume as necessary.Jmho. But I don't know what I'm doing anways so my 2 cent is probabky tantamount to pissing in the wind
But keep working her out .. uh the vocals that is ! She sounds great! Smooth out the rough edges and I believe you have a very good female front! 8)
Ps. Thought your solo was very nice too!
Partch: I have been wanting to do this version at church but we have a lot of older folks so I haven't been let to try it yet. I gotta keep things semi mellow. But one day
Rawb: I'm using PT plus and am still very new at recording and mixing so I need to learn some things about clipping and such. I told her to pull the mic away when she got louder but she needs to work on that part. BTW that was the first solo I ever made up. When a friend first showed me the minor pentitonic/blues scale.
No! Not if! .... When!
Pretty soon it will be time to initiate phase two! You don't leave the room. But isolate her in a vocal booth! ya I know , I don't have one either! But for her you make a curtian vocal booth. And tell her it does the same thing as a solid booth!
Just keep having fun bro. That's what it's about!
