Where are you?!?
All right all you slobs...I've got a dozen songs up on my SoundClick site, and none of you are going to listen. I have to get my ratings there up if I ever want to get Shania's interest. Help a brutha out?!?

Interesting, and I could picture your \"soundtrack\" tunes in a flick. I also heard a couple of Boston riffs (they only have one, actually) in one of your tunes, I think the guitar excercise.
Anyway, have a good one
Hey it was worth the time to go through your songs more closely. Lots of cool melodic songs. I miss hearing vocals but you managed to pull off instrumentals that can stand on their own.
Consider working on your vocals and maybe you might feel comfortable putting something down. You will be surprised how quickly you improve once you start singing, recording and listening back. You can pick out the strong parts and work them....take the weak parts and try not to repeat them.
All the potential is there man....now get to work!!!
Anyway...yuh, the whole Tasha series was done as soundtrack music to a cascade of movie scenes I imagined.
The Boston riff got thrown into that song 'cuz I recorded it the week Brad Delp killed himself, and it was my little tribute. I've been a life-long Boston fan...
Anyway, thanks for listening. I hope you enjoyed it...at least enough to play for Shania the next time you see her, so she'll start returning my phone calls... Thanks for the listen - and the props, buzz. It means a lot to me, as I consider you one of the most talented guys here. Sorry, Kirk...
THe vocals thing is hard for me, 'cuz I have a tragically bad singing voice as it is, and have had a hard time recording it to sound any better. For proof of this, search back in the Member Music forum area for my \"Mangling The Classics\" postings. Plus, I write lyrics that make Celine Dion seem like James Taylor.
I don't know any Tasha's, although for me, the name conjures the image of a lovely, sensitive girl. The Tasha songs just happened, while I was pining for such a woman and pictured her in a protracted movie sequence.
But despite my abilites - and lack of - I still love to play, record, and even come up with a nice little tidbit of music here n there. Perhaps someday I'll be as talented as Buzz, or as creative as Kirk, or have as many adoring women as Iliace. :P
Or perhaps be re-incarnated as Alex Lifeson. 8)
But sadly I ain't a member...... sry
