I was messing around and stumbled upon this little rythym and decided to try it out. I used my epi custom for rythym and backing leads and the 'binez rg170 for the rest. Any feed back on the mixing would help as I am adept at the process yet.

    Cool. Cut the Flange guitar at about 100hz and add a bass and it could sound killer. :wink:

    Yea, that was sweet! 8) Talk about movie sound tracks! As I listened I could imagine that as back ground music for a scene where some ones love just got killed and or they broke up. And it shows them in various states of emotional distress.

    Seemed melancholy yet with some edge to it. IMO.

    Sounded very nice to me as is. Yet some tweaking may or may not enhance it, only one way to find out! :)

    Wish my messing around came out sounding like that! Good job!

    COOL!!!! You know what it sounds like? The sound track for a western...like the sounds used in \"Fist full of dollars\" but without the whistle thingy.

    I could imagine 2 guys facing off in a gunfight, the desert sun and the cactus plants as backdrops. The 2 distintive guitar parts (left and right)added a lot to the piece.

    Very interesting recording.

    I'll try cutting the flange but lol I can't think of a descent bass line to save my butt for this one.

    Rawb don't sell yourself short I really like cowgirl needs a poke there are some cool riffs in that one.

    Buzz I was just trying things with ptp and kinda liked the L/R leads. I am such a novice at recording.

    Thanks for the nice comment about dad's stuff. I hope to find some more of his songs to record.
