Rawb, it must be some type of musical instrument because it sounds like music to me .
Partch, 52 MPG on the highway, at 65 mph, with a passenger is not unreasonable with this bike. In town is more like 45 MPG.
My daughter and I preparing for a ride this morning. 75 to 100 miles, no where in general. I have a little compass on the inside of the windshield so I pretty much can go anywhere, besides it's pretty hard to not find Dallas. 8)
Shredd, wifey said to have fun but she probably won't ride anymore. Kind of surprised me because we rode off from our wedding on a 1975 CB550 honda back in 1980. Me in my white tux and she in her big gown, she just tucked everything in and we rode off to the reception about 7 miles away. Got a lot of surprised looks from people in other cars.
How do you like that shaft drive? Some like , some don't, some it don't matter. Take a bit to get used to the torque ar first if you ain't use to it. liquid cooled No problem for that hot Texas sun when stuck in a jam 8)
If the ole lady don't want to ride 8) amd your daughter is the only one that will be on it, install a p-pad! That ought to convince her not to bring home a biker type!
We know how we are! LoL Daughters should marry up!

I like the shaft drive. Did not have any issues getting used to the torque. But your right, the old girl pulls like a mule in first and second gear.
