This is another of the songs my dad wrote. I think this is my favorite. Again I apologize for the awful vox. Also thanks for listening to \"Lonely Sure Looks Good On You\" It made it to # 15 in its sub-genre.

Nice tune. Don't feel too bad about the vox...not only is great singing the rarest talent in music (not counting Neil Peart's drumming abilities 8) ),but is also the hardest to record well.
I, personally, sing like the love child of Gilbert Gottfried and Rosie Perez.. :oops:

As far as this song - forget the quality of the vox. Bring 'em out in the mix a bit, less muddy.

I recently recorded a song written by my Mom and I agree with Shredd. The vox is secondary to the song. Even though the vocals could have been louder, I could hear the effort and feel you were putting into the song....that makes it work my friend.

Keep it up, I think your dad should be very proud.

I do concur with the others on the vocals! You do a good job. To me it's all relative to a point. Seriously, you think Mick Jagger, Willie Nelson, Dylan would have had a chance on amer. idol when they were young nobodies? I use tell people everybody can sing, it's just most try to sing something their voice ain't cut out to do! jmho

But you are way ahead of the game compared to me! Heck I can't sing or play guitar! :shock: And thanks to my gnx4, I can prove it!

I Liked the feel of this one Scott! That Bass kept it moving well. Your vocals fit the song well. I just think maybe more out front with them? Overall well done! You don't give yourself enough credit. Dad would be proud for sure!! 8)
