My latest Chart topper

This is my first post of new music here...I wrote this a few days ago and laid it down rather quickly, please forgive any sour notes you may hear.
Guitars done on gnx4, some sequenced keys via casio( my sweet new toy), all vocals are yours truly. All recorded on my Tascam \"Portastud\". Looking forward to everyones feedback...good or bad...I can take it.

P.S. this is the first song I've written in 12 yrs. With the GNX I'm sure it won't be another 12 before I write another...it truly is an insiprational masterpiece.

  • peat, sweet!

Been stashing them song writting talents for a decade... eh. To bad, that is a very nice song! Hope you got more in the works, would like to hear more of what you have on the burner!
  • Sounds great man!! I dug it 8) I'm glad you won't be waiting another 12 years to post! :D Seriously well put together tune & your vocals are real good! Everything just sounds so clean & well done! Sounds like for sure you know what your doing. Keep em comming 8) :D
  • This was put together very well. All instruments could be heard. Your vocal ability is the stand out for me. Very nice. I would only make one suggestion, and that would be to drop the vocal a few DB to try and have it sit more inside the tune and less on top. (Minor)
    Once again nicely done.
  • thanks for the feedback and I do agree the vocal is a little too out front, but thats what I get for mixing through headphones at 2a.m... can't wake up the wife and kid. She'd take away all my toys and make me sit in the corner...lol

I'm not really happy with the vocal...I will most likely lay it down again...I have a head cold that I just can't seem to shake. Good vocals and phlegm just dont mix...

    Thanks again to everyone.

I have dead sinuses from 3 broken noses. (no wonder I can't find a woman to date me - I have three noses!!! ). That's why my vox suuck. That's my story and I'm sticking to it...

If you wake up the wifey and she complains, just tell her that she can sleep all she wants when you're a millionaire rock star. You'll be sleeping with Shania by then anyway. 8)
